• Acton Bridge is a civil parish (SJ 5975), created in 1967 by renaming Acton (near Weaverham).
• Including the hamlets of Acton Bridge, Acton Cliffe, Hall Green, Lower Green, and Milton.

• Weaverham, St. Mary (C of E). The ancient parish church for Acton Bridge.
• Acton Bridge, Methodist Chapel, Forest Road (Wesleyan). Built ca.1834, rebuilt in 1878.
