• A township in Great Budworth Parish, Bucklow Hundred (SJ 5976), which was added to Dutton civil parish in 1936.
• The population was 77 in 1801, 87 in 1851 and 75 in 1901.

• Great Budworth, St. Mary & All Saints (C of E). The ancient parish church for Bartington.
• Little Leigh, St. Michael & All Angels (C of E). A chapelry in Great Budworth parish, and the parish church for Bartington from 1833.
• Bartington, Methodist Chapel. Built 1873.
