BICKERTON
- Bickerton was a township in Malpas ancient parish, Broxton hundred
(SJ 5153), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- It includes the hamlet of Gallantry Bank.
- The population was 270 in 1801, 398 in 1851, 323 in 1901, and 256 in 1951.

church for the township of Bickerton.
- Bickerton: Holy Trinity (Church of England).
Built in 1840 as a chapel to Malpas: St Oswald, becoming the district church
for Bickerton
in 1843.
