BUNBURY
- Bunbury was a township in Bunbury Parish, Eddisbury Hundred (SJ
5758), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- Including the hamlets of Bowe's Gate, Gosland Green, Sadler's Wells and Woodworth Green.
- The population was 519 in 1801, 931 in 1851, 820 in 1901, and 915 in 1951.

Bunbury, St. Boniface (C of E). An ancient parish church, originally serving the townships of Alpraham, Beeston, Bunbury, Burwardsley, Calveley, Haughton, Peckforton, Ridley, Spurstow, Tilstone Fearnall, Tiverton and Wardle. Registers of Baptisms 1598–1953, Marriages 1559–1982 and Burials 1559–1922 have been deposited at the Cheshire Record Office,
- Bunbury, Trinity Methodist Chapel (Wesleyan). Built in 1806, rebuilt in 1868.
- Bunbury, Methodist Chapel (Primitive). Built in 1876, closed in 1970. Registers of marriages 1931–67 are at the Cheshire Record Office.
