CHORLEY (near Nantwich)
- Chorley was a township in Wrenbury ancient parish, Nantwich hundred
(SJ 5750), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- The population was 126 in 1801, 173 in 1851, 132 in 1901, and 167 in 1951.
