Eastham: St. Mary, becoming the district church for Netherpool, Overpool, and
part of Whitby in 1871.
Whitby: St. Thomas & All Saints (Church of England). Built in 1909 as a chapel to
Ellesmere Port: Christ Church. Closed in 1996.
Whitby: St. Francis (Church of England). Founded in 1937 as a chapel to

Stanney Grange: St. Andrew (Church of England).
Built in 1971 as a chapel to Christ Church, run jointly with the Methodist

Mersey Street. Rebuilt in 1900 in Queen Street. Closed in 1968. Registers of marriages

Whitby, Methodist Chapel (Primitive). Built in 1873, rebuilt in 1968.
