- Fallibroome was a township in Prestbury ancient parish, Macclesfield hundred (SJ 8975), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- In 1936 the civil parish was abolished to become parts of Prestbury and Macclesfield.
- The population was 31 in 1801, 28 in 1851, and 41 in 1901.
