HATTERSLEY
Hattersley was a township in Mottram-in-Longdendale ancient parish,
Macclesfield hundred (SJ 9793), which became a civil parish in 1866.
The civil parish was abolished in 1936 to become parts of Hyde
and
Longdendale .
The population was 455 in 1801, 497 in 1851, and 287 in 1901.
