HUNTINGTON

• Huntington was a township in St. Oswald's Parish, Broxton Hundred (SJ 4263), which became a civil parish in 1866.
• Including the hamlets of Butterbache (part), Cheaveley and Saighton Camp.
• The population was 111 in 1801, 129 in 1851, 121 in 1901, and 2614 in 1951.

• Chester, St. Oswald (C of E). The ancient parish church for Huntington.
• Bruera, St. Mary (C of E). The parish church from 1868 to 1965.
• Huntington, St. Luke (C of E). Chester Road. Founded 1965 as the parish church for Huntington. Registers of Baptisms from 1985 and Marriages from 1989 are held at the church (no burials).
