LACH DENNIS
Lach Dennis was a township in Witton Chapelry of Great Budworth
Parish, Northwich Hundred (SJ 7171), which became a civil parish in 1866.
In 1892 it was extended in 1892 to include the whole of Birches , Hulse , Newhall (nr. Davenham) and Stublach .
In 1936 part of Leese was added to Lach Dennis.
The population was 43 in 1801, 28 in 1851, 184 in 1901, and 68 in 1951.
