LITTLE NESTON

• Little Neston was a township in Neston Parish, Wirral Hundred (SJ 2976), which became a civil parish in 1866.
• In 1889 the detached hamlets of Blakeley Brow and Hargrave were transferred from Little Neston to Raby.
• In 1894 the remainder of Little Neston was added to Neston cum Parkgate.
• Including the hamlet of Windle Hill
• The population was 254 in 1801, 51 in 1851, and 1225 in 1901.

• Willaston, Christ Church (C of E). The parish church for part of Little Neston from 1865.
