LONGDENDALE
Longdendale was a civil parish created in 1936 by uniting the whole
of Hollingworth and Mottram
with parts of Hattersley and
Matley .
In 1974 it became an unparished area in the county of Greater Manchester .
The population was 4591 in 1951.
