LOSTOCK GRALAM

• Lostock Gralam was a township in Witton Chapelry of Great Budworth ancient parish, Bucklow hundred (SJ 6974), which became a civil parish in 1866.
• It includes the hamlet of Lostock Green.
• The population was 361 in 1801, 519 in 1851, 1640 in 1901, and 1522 in 1951.

Boundary Changes

• 1936 April 1 — Lost parts to Northwich (162 acres, pop. 831 in 1931) and Rudheath (60 acres, pop. 2 in 1931)
• 1988 April 1 — Gained part of Lach Dennis, and lost parts to Lach Dennis and Rudheath
