MARSTON
Marston was a township in Great Budworth ancient parish, Bucklow hundred
(SJ 6776), which became a civil parish in 1866.
The population was 284 in 1801, 559 in 1851, 878 in 1901, and 729 in 1951.

Built in 1874 as a chapel to Great Budworth: St. Mary & All Saints, becoming
the district church for most of Marston in 1875. Closed in 1965.
