MILLINGTON
- Millington was a township in Rostherne ancient parish, Bucklow hundred
(SJ 7284), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- It includes the hamlets of Arthill, Boothbank and Bucklow Hill (part).
- The population was 196 in 1801, 370 in 1851, 225 in 1901, and 324 in 1951.
