MOORE
- Moore was a township in Daresbury chapelry and Runcorn Parish,
Bucklow Hundred (SJ 6082), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- In 1933 the area north of the Manchester Ship Canal was transferred to the county of
Lancashire.
- In 1967 a further part of Moore was added to Runcorn.
- The population was 156 in 1801, 336 in 1851, 408 in 1901, and 494 in 1951.

- Runcorn, All Saints (C of E). The ancient parish church for Runcorn.
- Daresbury, All Saints (C of E). An ancient chapelry in Runcorn parish.
- Moore, Methodist Chapel (Wesleyan). Built in 1812, rebuilt in 1870.
