NORBURY (near Malpas)
- Norbury was a township in Marbury Parish, Nantwich Hundred (SJ 5547),
which became a civil parish in 1866.
- Including the hamlets of Gauntons Bank, Holtridge, Hurst Green, Norbury Common and Swanwick Green.
- The population was 330 in 1801, 403 in 1851, 289 in 1901, and 241 in 1951.

- Marbury, St. Michael (C of E). An ancient chapelry in Whitchurch parish (Shropshire).
- Bickley, St. Wenefride (C of E). The parish church from 1893.
- Norbury, Methodist Chapel (Wesleyan). Built in 1834, closed in 1975. Registers 1939–1958 are at the Cheshire Record Office.
- Norbury, United Reformed Church (Independent/Congregational). Built in 1868.
