POULTON CUM SPITAL
- Poulton cum Spital was a township in Bebington Parish, Wirral Hundred (SJ 3382),
which became a civil parish in 1866.
- In 1895 part of Poulton cum Spital was added to Bromborough
civil parish.
- Since 1974 Poulton cum Spital has been part of the county of Merseyside.
- Including the hamlets of Clatterbridge (part), Poulton Lancelyn and Spital.
- The population was 87 in 1801, 294 in 1851, 487 in 1901, and 1257 in 1951.

- Poulton Lancelyn, Holy Trinity A chapel of ease to Bebington. Registers of Baptisms and Marriages from 1977 are still at the church (no burials).
