ROSTHERNE
- Rostherne was a township in Rostherne Parish, Bucklow Hundred (SJ
7484), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- Including the hamlets of Birkinheath, Bucklow Hill (part) and Yarwood Heath.
- The population was 235 in 1801, 388 in 1851, 413 in 1901, and 245 in 1951.
