SOMERFORD BOOTHS
- Somerford Booths was a township in Astbury ancient parish, Northwich
hundred (SJ 8366), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- It includes the hamlets of Newsbank and Wornish Nook.
- The population was 250 in 1801, 274 in 1851, 195 in 1901, and 160 in 1951.
