STRETTON (near Runcorn)
Stretton was a township in Great Budworth ancient parish, Bucklow hundred
(SJ 6282), which became a civil parish in 1866.
It includes the hamlet of Stockley.
The population was 220 in 1801, 367 in 1851, 310 in 1901, and 1083 in 1951.
