THINGWALL

• Thingwall was a township in Woodchurch Parish, Wirral Hundred (SJ 2884), which became a civil parish in 1866.
• In 1933 the whole of Thingwall was added to Birkenhead.
• The population was 52 in 1801, 96 in 1851, and 156 in 1901.
