Tushingham with Grindley was a township and chapelry in Malpas ancient parish, Broxton hundred (SJ 5245), which became a civil parish in 1866.
It includes the hamlets of Barhill, Bell o'th'Hill, Grindley and Grindley Brook
(part).
The population was 194 in 1801, 315 in 1851, 264 in 1901, and 217 in 1951.
