TYTHERINGTON
- Tytherington was a township in Prestbury ancient parish, Macclesfield
hundred (SJ 9175), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- The civil parish was abolished in 1936 to become part of
Macclesfield and Bollington (near Macclesfield).
- It includes the hamlets of Higher Beech and Lower Beech
- The population was 226 in 1801, 374 in 1851, and 304 in 1901.
