TYTHERINGTON
- Tytherington was a township in Prestbury Parish, Macclesfield Hundred (SJ 9175),
which became a civil parish in 1866.
- In 1936 the whole of Tytherington was added to Macclesfield
civil parish.
- Including the hamlets of Higher Beech and Lower Beech
- The population was 226 in 1801, 374 in 1851, and 304 in 1901.
