WALTON

• Walton was a civil parish (SJ 5984) created in 1936 by uniting Acton Grange, Walton Inferior and Walton Superior.
• The population was 1549 in 1951.

Boundary Changes

• 1936 April 1 — Created from the whole of Acton Grange (600 acres, pop. 100 in 1931), Walton Inferior (182 acres, pop. 1026 in 1931) and Walton Superior (437 acres, pop. 175 in 1931)
