WILLASTON (near Nantwich)
- Willaston was a township in the ancient parishes of Wybunbury and
Nantwich, Nantwich
hundred (SJ 6948), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- It includes the hamlet of Blakelow, Cheerbrook (part) and Moorfields (part).
- The population was 209 in 1801, 349 in 1851, 2400 in 1901, and 1882 in 1951.
