WILLINGTON
- Willington was an extra-parochial place in Eddisbury hundred (SJ 5366),
which became a civil parish in 1866.
- It includes the hamlets of Tirley and Willington Corner (part).
- The population was 84 in 1801, 123 in 1851, 146 in 1901, and 132 in 1951.
