WOODFORD
- Woodford was a township in Prestbury ancient parish, Macclesfield hundred
(SJ 8982), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- The civil parish was abolished in 1939 to become part of Hazel Grove
& Bramhall.
- Included the hamlet of Moor End.
- The population was 430 in 1851, and 304 in 1901.
