WOOLSTANWOOD

• Woolstanwood was a township in Nantwich ancient parish, Nantwich hundred (SJ 6756), which became a civil parish in 1866.
• It includes the hamlets of Brassey Bank and Marshfield.
• The population was 40 in 1801, 65 in 1851, 133 in 1901, and 87 in 1951.

Boundary Changes

• 1936 April 1 — Lost part to Monks Coppenhall (97 acres, pop. 56 in 1931)
• 1990 April 1 — Gained part of Monks Coppenhall, and lost part to Monks Coppenhall
