Acton, St. Mary (C of E). The ancient parish church for Worleston.
Worleston, St. Oswald (C of E). Founded 1873 as the parish church for Aston juxta Mondrum, Cholmondeston, Poole and Worleston. Registers of Marriages 1875–2003 have been deposited at the Cheshire Record Office, where Bishop's Transcripts are held for the years 1873–1882 (incomplete). Registers of Baptisms and Burials from
2003 are held at the church.
Worleston, Methodist Chapel (Free). Built in 1871, closed in 1969.
