REGISTRATION DISTRICTS IN MERIONETHSHIRE

The list below shows the civil registration districts in Merionethshire between 1837 and 1974. The same districts were used to compile the censuses returns for the years 1851 to 1911.

For the purposes of these pages "Merionethshire" refers to:

The county of Merionethshire was abolished on 1.4.1974 to become parts of the counties of Gwynedd and Clwyd.
