This site on Ravenfield is interlinked with the Thrybergh and Dalton sites, they have been created so that people can share memories, research their genealogy, and also learn of the History and Heritage regarding the three Villages. The sites have been successful in reuniting several families, including one family who were reunited after 150 years. Local Schoolchildren use the sites for research. So the sites are here for your use to leave messages, memories, contribute information, have your family entered into the history on these pages, or just visit, as one ex resident of the area wrote "  Its like having a trip back home whenever you feel like it."

The old Village of Ravenfield and its surrounding's are today very much unspoilt, and it is well worth a visit. There are excellent views to enjoy owing to the elevation of the Village.
Why is an ex Thrybergh Lad producing web pages on Ravenfield you may ask, the answer is, my late wife was born in Ravenfield and I spent a lot of time there in the 1960's, and it is a terrific Village. At the moment I am in the early stages of research into the village and if anyone has items they would like including here on this site please contact me on the links provided.

Please take the time to sign the guest book it is always a great pleasure to hear from you
