The list below shows the civil registration districts in Cumbria since 1974.

For the purposes of these pages, "Cumbria" refers to:

the non-metropolitan county created on 1.4.1974 from parts of the counties of Cumberland, Westmorland, Lancashire and Yorkshire West Riding (until 2023)
the unitary authorities of Cumberland and Westmorland & Furness (from 2023).
