The list below shows the civil registration districts in Denbighshire between 1837 and 1974. The same districts were used to compile the census returns for the years 1851 to 1911.
For the purposes of these pages "Denbighshire" refers to:
The county of Denbigshire was abolished on 1.4.1974 to become parts of the counties of Clwyd, Gwynedd, and Powys.
